So.. where do we go from here?
While I’ve been travelling, I have been doing a lot of exploration about the power of human potential – about who we really are, about what we can really achieve if we step into our destiny. A passage from Paul’s letter to the Romans has stayed with me for a long, long time – it’s become part of who I am and of a deep, deep desire in my own being: “And all creation stands on tiptoe just to see the sons of God come into their own”.
I am convinced that we stand on the edge of a new leap forward for the human race – a moment where we discover just what we are capable of, both as individuals and as groups – where we learn to step over the petty differences that divide us and step into a new future.
I’ve always been fascinated by American comic books like Marvel comics – as a youngster I read, spellbound, of the adventures of those fortunate enough to have super powers. In those stories, there seemed to be a call to so much more – so much possibility, so much power, so much capability – just waiting to be born, to be discovered.
And yet, in any story, there is truth. We truly use so little of our true potential – caught up as we are in our day to day lives.. and yet there is so much more for each of us. We have, each one of us, the power to make our dreams – and the dreams of those around us – come true. That’s the power of true prosperity – the truth of a life without limits.
I believe there are three levels of opportunity for us:
Firstly, the power of our own beings. I’m going to explore some of the powerful techniques that I’ve learned on my journey – secrets from neuro-linguistic programming, from hypnosis, meditation and journey work, from my coaching toobox, from the masters of the power of thought – and just from my experience.
Secondly, there’s the power of connection. Together, you and I can do so much more than we can on our own – so we’ll be exploring the power of what Napoleon Hill calls the ‘Master Mind’ – so much more than the mastermind groups of today – to leverage the power of unity
And then there’s the awesome, supernatural power that’s our birth-right as sons and daughters of God. We’re going to go way beyond the metaphysics of ‘The Secret’ and the ‘Law of Attraction’ and look at the power to create, the power of the alchemist.
At least, that’s my plan. I have the humility to know that whenever I set out on a journey, it’s the unexpected, the unplanned, the fortuitous, that makes the journey an adventure. And I know that Divine Intelligence has something even more incredible in store for us than we can believe right now. But the point is that we need to start. As Muriel Strode reminds us “Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail”. I have no idea where we will end up – but I do promise you that I will share my heart with you, that I will do my best to teach what I know, and to be honest enough to admit what I don’t yet understand.
Sometimes that journey may be peaceful, soothing and calm. Other times it may be wild, scary and exhilarating. Yet it will change us. Buckle up… it’s going to be an amazing ride….
…and remember – you are amazing!
