I’ve been deep diving into the world of prosperity, success, wealth and abundance over the last few months, doing research for my upcoming success programmes and learning all I can on creating true prosperity, true wealth, and true abundance. I’ve had some incredible, amazing insights through the people I have listened to and the books and programmes I have done – and also by listening to my own heart. But I loved this quote…
We are drawn to step beyond everything we know, beyond everything that we know is familiar and ‘safe’.. and step into something unsafe, something uncertain, something new. It’s only at that point that we start to grow. I can think of many points in my life where I’ve been scared to do something – unsure of what lies beyond. I’ve known that as soon as I step across that threshold that nothing will ever be the same again – and, in truth, there is no going back.
Do you remember the scene in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” where our hero has to step out in faith into what looks like thin air… only to find a concealed bridge across the chasm.. When I was learning to snowboard, I knew that I had to turn the board down the hill, accelerating as the slope fell away below me – and at that point I learned the true joy of the sport. I can remember standing outside a dance hall in Blackpool, too afraid to go inside – and yet when I did, the beginning of a whole new world opened up for me.
For all of us there are moments when go beyond anything we have experienced – beyond all our current knowledge, our wisdom, our insight… it’s those moments that define our courage – and change our lives.
